I brought some the weekend and they are going black already (in the flesh part). Are they meant to be stored at room temperature or in the fridge?

I bought a fruit called 'sharon. its orange. How do i ripen this fruit?

Is this the same fruit …starts with the letter “P” (cant remember now) and if not ripen proberly it leaves a “fuzzy” like texture in your mouth?
